This article is the second in a series that bring to light the different ways in which the digital evidence of an affair can be hidden. Smart phones are often the key device used in communications between an unfaithful spouse or significant other and the “other” man/woman. In the past, eye-witness accounts and photographs (often obtained by private investigators) were often the primary evidence obtained of an affair. In this digital world, much of the evidence is stored in hard drives on computers, laptops and especially on smart phones. The cheater has to be careful to erase the digital footprint of the affair if they dont want to get caught.

With the right knowledge and tools, the digital evidence of an affair can be discovered. said Dan Weiss, Partner at McCann E-Investigations. Even if the data has been deleted, it is often recoverable. If the data is password protected, often the passwords can be cracked. Continued Weiss.

10 more ways in which to hide the digital evidence of an affair:

1.    Always use a passcode! This is a given!

2.    Set passcode to a minimal amount of time to lock phone automatically.

3.    Set iPhone passcode to “complex” code. The default 4 digit can be easily guessed.

4.    Set iPhone security to wipe phone after 10 incorrect attempts. Preventing data from falling into the wrong hands.

5.    Use a third party privacy browser. (with password protection) Many available in App store.

6.    Dont save or have their iPhone remember passwords, email address, login names, or any other sensitive information.

7.    Use 3rd party password protected app for SMS / text messages.

8.    Set up “Find My iPhone”. This will help you locate a lost or stolen phone. With this service you can also wipe you phone remotely preventing evidence of your dalliances from falling into the wrong hands.

9.    Never jailbreak phone. Jailbreaking allows for malicious software to be loaded onto your phone. Possibly recording information without you knowing it.

10.    Don’t let iPhone remember wireless pass codes. This information could be used to gain access to personal or company wifi networks.

A redefinition of small business was reported in the Federal Register on Feb. 10 by the Small Business Administration. The SBA concluded that larger businesses in three sub-industries in the professional, scientific and technical services may be considered small businesses after all. Under the new standards, a greater emphasis will be placed on average firm size, degree of competition and federal contracting trends. It is estimated that under the new guidelines, around 8,350 additional businesses will be eligible for the SBAs programs.

The Federal Register was met with mixed reviews from lobbying organizations and lawmakers. Jean Card, spokeswoman for The National Federation of Independent Business noted that she was not real clear on why the definition changed.

The NSBA does not distinguish businesses by industry or revenue and limits its membership to businesses with fewer than 500 employees. Some congressional lawmakers are unhappy with the SBA and will try to implement new legislation to combat their new regulations for small businesses.

Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), co-author of the Small Business Protection Act, was quoted in an article by the Government Executive saying, If the size standards are adjusted then we dont need to change the definition, but we do need complementary incentives for advanced [and] growing small businesses.

Despite the redefinition of small business and whatever future implications it will illicit, small businesses should expect to see even further growth in government contract awards throughout the remainder of the fiscal year.

A report on the Federal Procurement Data System shows over 12% of government contracts were awarded for Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, second only to Electronics, Computer and Transportation Equipment Manufacturing. With the Obama Administrations push for agencies to adopt cloud computing, provide more transparency to tax payers and allow more federal employees to engage in telework, IT government contractors in particular should expect significant growth during 2012.

Posted over the last 30 days, there are over 1,064 opportunities listed for professional, scientific and technical services firms on the FedBizOpps website, which lists federal contracting opportunities valued at $ 25,000 or higher. Opportunities are not limited to large businesses only; 212 of those listings are set aside solely for various small business concerns.

It comes with a pen cap and when its on, the whole thing is disguised as a pen, or one of those white board laser pointers. It might be perfect for those users who want to do stealth vaping.

Battery Life

The Innokin LEA is a pen-style device, but it survived an entire day of vaping.

“Im a pretty heavy vaper, but I normally rotate between several different devices. Innokin LEA, from what Ive seen, would easily last for an entire day (around 8 hours) if youre a heavy vaper, and about 6-7 hours if youre a moderate one. The battery capacity is 650 mAh,” Mesh wrote in his blog.

Battery Features

The battery is featured by a multi-colored LED to signal to the user when the device requires charging:

Green means fully charged.

Orange indicates that charge has been depleted to the halfway mark.

Red indicates that it need to be recharged now.

There are 3 clicks to turn on the batterys safety-lock.

Pass Through

Another really nice feature of the battery is the Pass-through. The Innokin LEA comes with a USB to mini-USB retractable cord, and with the pass-through it allows user to keep vaping on the device even when the battery has depleted by connecting the device the computer or wall socket (the kit I received came with a wall socket adapter).

Vapor Production

Mesh feels good about the vapor performance of Innokin, and he wrote: “The vapor production is really good for such a small 3.7V device. I was getting really thick clouds of vapor with every drag from the Innokin LEA and each draw was smooth an easy, even with really short drags. This outperforms the default Ego-T e-cigarette in terms of vapor production.”

The Tank System

The Innokin LEA utilizes a tank system, very much like the Ego-T and 510-Ts. But most non-mod tank systems out there are guilty of producing cold vapor and fewer flavors, and the Innokin LEA is no exception.

No Leaking

The tanks of the LEA were pretty easy to fill which make this unit good for any beginner. Unlike the Ego tanks, the default tank caps of the LEA are made of silicon, and the seal it makes with the container itself is perfect. The piercing hole also fits snugly around the attys needle.

Even after one week of heavy usage, the testing showed no deterioration of the tanks and there were no leaks either. Thats a huge plus.

There werent any e liquid leaks from the hole in the mouth piece either. Getting juice in the mouth is another thing the Ego-T is famous for. No problems at this end with the Innokin LEA.

Conclusion

Finally, Mesh made a conclusion of the testing, he wrote: “A lot of people who have reviewed the Innokin LEA have said that they really liked it and were happy with its performance, but flavor is a huge thing for me. I spend a fair amount of money on premium e-liquids and I want to taste the flavor Im paying for. Good vapor production, but if the PV isnt giving me the kind of flavor hit Im used to, then Id have to pass.”
